Founder & Director
Mehmet Emin Dogru is the founder and director of Reference Legal Consultancy Ltd, bringing over a decade of distinguished legal experience to clients across the UK and internationally. He is a qualified Lawyer, registered with the Istanbul Bar Association (Registry No: 43854), and a Registered Foreign Lawyer recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority in England and Wales (SRA No: 838476).
After earning his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the prestigious Istanbul University in 2011, he was admitted to the Istanbul Bar in 2012 and has since built a solid legal career marked by both public service and private practice. His expertise spans across a broad range of legal areas including commercial law, real estate, criminal defence, administrative law, inheritance, and cross-border business disputes.
Mr. Dogru previously served in senior legal advisory roles within the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, where he led high-stakes litigation and supervised legal affairs across multiple provinces. His exceptional performance in these roles garnered national attention and reinforced his reputation as a results-driven legal professional.
In 2018, he transitioned to full-time private practice, representing businesses, professionals, and individuals in complex legal matters. In parallel with his legal work, he completed a Master's degree in International Trade and Investment Management at Istanbul Medeniyet University, graduating with high honours (GPA: 3.95/4.00).
With a vision to extend his legal expertise beyond borders, Mr. Dogru established Reference Legal Consultancy Ltd in London in 2021. The firm serves as a reliable partner for clients navigating Turkish law, business consultancy, and international commercial matters, providing tailored legal strategies and multilingual support.
